The Fellow Denied

Several suffer from the same persecutions. Rough, rampaging

Oceans may seperate the victims in space, but in savage

Cruelty they are united. We are denied the rights given to us

In the first moments of life. The right to bow to those above us in worship, the right to

Equal pay, the right to decide what happens to our own bodies,

The right to own our own bodies, love who we want, and where what we choose. Who are

You to tell me who I am?

This poem is about:
My country
Our world
