Feeling The Pain

Its just there,

On my bosom,

Just there.

Centre point.

It feels heavy,

This weight is wrapped,

Front of my chest,

Penetrates my soul.

Takes away,

Joy,

Into misery -

Long life companion.

Isolated,

Dark,

Worn out,

Become my solid career.

Prolonged bouts of sadness,

Indication of one's life,

I used to desire riches, wealth, and travel, a wife and 2.4 kids.

Path has been twisted, freedom is now the wish, I cling on too.

Dream is to become a bird,

Fly away from this disturbed nest,

Away from the dark cuckoo,

Onto branches new.

Yet  I fear death will soon take me,

Time waits for no-one,

The sunrise is setting,

Vision and life deteriotates too.
