let's talk about the word 

homophobia 

for a moment.

straight people-

why are you scared of gay people?

do you fear the fact that

at any given moment

you hold systematic privilege over them?

an advantage

almost quite a right

to deny?

excuse?

exclude?

a person from being a human!

and they can't bite back

because of who you love, how you love

so how is it

that you've come to fear

the privilege you've always had?
