Farewell to the Fisherman

He sailed out to sea to fish a day's wage but the sea did not like him and threw him in rage. The waves got so tall and the sails got so taught, that the little old sailor gave up his day's plot. He huddled down low filling buckets with water to dump them into the ocean, soon beginning to potter. His hands shook with fatigue, but he could not avail for if he gave in his boat surely would fail. Before the sailor did know it, he was thrust to demise. All he could let were gargled, muffled cries, before the stormy surge cast him out of its locks. For this fisher's boat was riven by his own homely dock.
