Farewell to another long Year.

Another year come and gone, another tally to add on the count of my life. Through the long hours and minuets with dragging feet life went on. Through the head ache's of school and friends and family, though I loved every slow minuet. The girl at the beggining slowly disappeared to give way to me, a different person. She passed on what she knew telling me what to do and not to do, how to survive as I pieced the puzzle together. As friends came and we all told our promises, dreaming of a far away tomorrow. I met him, I feel in love with him foolish as everybody else warned me not to. My heart he stole as he lied with every word, the fault of my ignorance. Through the lagging seconds and boring months I sewed a mask together to hide away all the flaw within me. Everybody in awe marveled at the mask as they loved it more, though slowly they've drifted away. Through miles of distance between us and a thousand dreams. I became this girl, because the people a better person or not this is the person I've come to be. As this year as brought about sorrow and joy driving the monsters out for new ones to welcome themselves.
