People don't seem to understand

people think we're bubbly 

silly

overly happy and hysterical teenagers 

when in reality we're the complete opposite

It's not all rainbows and unicorns

we deal with depression

oppression 

suicide

eating disorders

Its constant rejection

loss and pain

hours upon hours of school with fake people you just don't want to deal with

we're not who we are because we're naturally happy people

we are who we are because it's actually that one last sourse of happiness we have left

everyone sees us as 12 year olds obsessing over our idols' looks

but it more than what meets the eye

we see the real them

it's not the fame or money that hooks

its what they make us feel that hooks

its the constant reminder that someone out there loves us

because of us

that's what I would change

the way people look into our world and hopefully understand

what it's like to fangirl
