Children are screaming and babies crying,
All this from a little poverty?
Mommies and daddies begin praying.
People think that killing all these Jews will help them win the lottery.
Crazy how all this came from a man who was once viewed as insane.

Some hid to avoid the pain,
Others weren't as lucky.
Sent to burning buildings,
Where their fathers were murdered before them.

The stars giving us hope for a better day,
But the numbers on our arms were there to make sure we were going to suffer soon, too.
Mothers lost their daughters,
Fathers their sons,
Grandmothers their children,
And for us, our faith.

The war is over but the sorrow remails.
There's nothing left to do but to tell of the pain.
Try to prevent the same mistakes in the future,
By teaching our young a new and more equal culture.
