Falseness and Weakness

“Only the weak are cruel”

Or so Leo Buscaglia says.

But what does that say about you?

What does that say about me?

Proudly post a #nofilter, #nomakeup

We say “you’re beautiful!”

And “hashtag gorg”

But only because it is nice.

              You see his pimple,

              You see her scar,

And all you think is

“You’re prettier with makeup”

                A.K.A “You’re prettier fake.

The push for less photoshopping in magazines

Lead by people arrogantly shouting “Everyone’s beautiful!”

Won’t actually buy the lingerie modeled on 200+ pounds of body.

But everyone’s beautiful, right?

Does it make you strong to avoid being cruel?

Or does it make you hypocritical and weak?

Maybe the cruel are strong in their honesty.

Maybe those without filter, those that say the worst

The Simon Cowells of the world

Have positive words that mean the most

Because their words are never fake.

Have real strength

               Never be fake.

Only then can we have a true NoFilter World.

Strive to be kind, strive to be honest.

Do not strive to be fake.

Hold your tongue if what you're about to say

Is only a lie

Is only fake.

               “Only the weak are fake.”

               Or so Kathryn Parton says.
