False

Carrion fowl, these shadows loom
champions of certain doom

"Peace, peace" their siren song
proclaims boldly, through ages long

"Hush, child, know, there's naught amiss,
receive the promise: temporal bliss."

Such predators claim to make clear how
prey may grasp their "best life now"

Acquire the tainted truths they sell
in exchange, a home; the depths of hell
