Falling in Flowers (and Love)

Location

Remember the garden, our special place.

Where I'd always be waiting for your pretty face.

For waiting and writing, these beautiful scenes

are all that I can do for now, so it seems.

Sitting within the striped tiger lilies

I can't help but find myself feeling silly

for all that I've done is gone willy-nilly

Since the day that you held me when I was too chilly.

But that was last winter and this is right now

The clouds rolling by as I wonder how

we were brought together over such stormy seas

My heart's in possession

the birds and the bees.

Time keeps on rolling

planted are seeds

the sun rise and set

and saplings to trees

My heart may be beating

but it has been seized

There's love in the air

and I'm thoroughly pleased.
