"The Fall" ... you know?
1 Peter 1:18-20 New English Translation (NET Bible)
18 You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed—
not by perishable things like silver or gold, 19 but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.
20 He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was manifested in these last times for your sake.
The Fall
Adam in the Garden, far before the Fall,
was completely natural, but never sinned.
It would be supernatural now
in a world turned deaf and blind.
Creativity was the right choice
in what otherwise had been.
The blessing hidden in the Fall
we do seldom notice.
Oh! Creature that I should have been
became family indeed.
Made by God and then changed
into family of the same.
Life itself unrestricted
embraced me in His Name.
Death is death and life is Life,
as in creation it appears different.
It is still the same you know
in the perspective of the old.
All things are new in Christ
does that make a difference?
One must die so one may live
that seems the main true goal.
The new Life is in Spirit, you know.
The body is just dying.
It started at its birth, you know,
after the first breath.
A dying life, a living death
is all I had to cling too.
Still I felt alive, you know
because I could take a breath.
My new Life is in Spirit, you know,
in the Holy Spirit of Life.
Representing God, you know.
is His Presence in my being.
The supernatural is with me, you know,
in peace and in power.
To never let go, you know
secured for Eternity.
A not created life, you know,
just molded by The Master.
Not made by human touch, you know,
but formed out of this world.
I am dead in Christ, you know,
living fully in His Presence,
to be here on earth, you know,
but not of this world.
