Fall Poem.

I have recently come

to the conclusion that

there are too many clocks

and not enough time to explain

the euphoric spectrum of color

you bring to everything we do.

It has been so long

since I've had a Fall that saw me

walking cold circles around

what I can't understand;

I'm a little too young,

a little too proud, a little too

daring to bear witness

to a simple truth:

You have the kind of heart

that can watch me weep, and

I am addicted

to the beautiful way you change.
