The Falconer

I saw myself flying high in the skies.

Just like a falcon.

You were the tamer of them.

You healed them.

The nature center was a place of wonders.

That’s where you reside.

There where you provide.

You were known as a strong woman.

As a wife.

As a mother.

But to me, you were falconer first, the rest last.

You filled my past with wonders.

You filled my past with your strength and wisdom.

I’ll carry it with me forever.

Like a falcon carries itself through the sky.
