Failure

Failure

FAILURE

F-A-I-L-U-R-E

That word broke her dreams,

                       dashed her hopes,

                        dimimnished her passions

Slowly slipping away from reality she became numb

There was no purpose to anything in her life

yet,

She held her head high

She smiled as if she had her whole life together,

as if her dreams and passions were not broken,

She poured out love for others

But,

Inside her heart was aching

If only they would listen

If only they would understand

If only they knew how much she was suffering

If only they could just return half the love she gave

If only,

before she slipped away
