Fading Light
I can feel it ever slipping away,
Diluting into the abyssal dark.
I only feel all that is not okay
As everything dons a new shrouding mark.
All that drowns in the depths where lives the shark,
Know the origin of those cursed jaws.
The monstrosity emerged from flaws
Perceived from the ever watching eye.
As opens wide the ever gaping maws,
To devour all that has become “I.”
