Faded Memories

When we were back in school I saw you in the corner , alone, afraid with no arms to call home
You cried every day wishing for some love;
still none came

You left the school with tears in your eyes saying "the world screwed me' now why aren't they paying?"
You grew up a life now soiled
And you sing

Faded memories
Walking down the hill side
Holding to each other's hands
While the others kept our heart
Lose them
Leave them
My hand will bring you home
Give in now and run and leave
From faded memories

You were a lady in red with a smile just the same
Your eyes so wide and free no man could tame
When our hands finally touched
I knew we had a shot
To bad your a slut and this love was bought

Faded, memories
Walking down the hill side
Holding to each other's hands
While the others kept our hearts

Are hands are now bond
With my love you have found
Your men were shameful
All they asked was a handful
But now I'm here to straighten things out
Because your past may be empty but to me they are just:

Faded, memories
Walking down the hill side
Holding to each other's hands
While the others kept our hearts
