Faces in the crowd

Its hard to get back up when you get pushed down

To overcome that feeling of being laughed at

and treated as a clown

Its hard to walk away with your head hanging down

But the laughter fades away with each step you take

And the bully moves onto his next mistake

While you run its hard to see

The ones that’ve been there

The ones that are shedding a tear

Its hard to carry on with life

When the quickest way out is with a knife

Then you see the faces in the crowd

The faces that stare

But these faces aren’t the ones that don't care

With eyes shining bright

They smile at you and tell you its going to be alright

You smile back and give them a nod

So when you think all hope is lost

and is nowhere to be found

Stop for a moment and look around

For there maybe someone

Who can turn that around
