The "F" Word

You get in trouble if you say it aloud

Or even think it in your head.

The “F” word has a thousand meanings

And none of them are dead.

It means something different

To each person who hears it,

Thinks it, or speaks it.

The “F” word is my favorite thing

To call out when I’m fighting,

Often for someone or something.

There’s a fine line between when one

Can or cannot say the “F” word.

Certain crowds, certain countries,

Even different languages

Judge when you say the “F” word, if ever.

But if there’s one thing I know,

It’s that everyone wants the “F” word

And will fight to earn their Freedom.
