Eyes of trust

Psalm 5:3

A Prayer for Guidance

To the Chief Musician. With flutes. A Psalm of David.

5 Give ear to my words, O Lord,

Consider my meditation.

2 Give heed to the voice of my cry,

My King and my God,

For to You I will pray.

3 My voice You shall hear in the morning, O Lord;

In the morning I will direct it to You,

And I will lookup.

Eyes of trust

Here you are softly smiling as all seems alright just for now

Hope expands in the temporal for life conquers it all somehow

Yesterday some cloudy weather, but now the sun shines bright

The past is almost now forgotten as you are bathing in the light

A few words here and there make a difference when encouraged

All seems happy deep within when through hope we are asserted

Life is hope and hope is love uninterrupted flowing from assurance

All good gifts come from God, who fills us quickly with endurance

All is complete, whatever befalls, as the Lord prepares us for His service

All is needed to follow His call, is to obey, so to be ensured in His presence

“One day at the time”, appears like forever as troubles invade the early day

So moment to moment seems more inviting so peace will linger all the way
