"The Eyes That Feed The Soul"

Location

Outcast is a word used to delineate the misfit,

in a family where failure was tradition,

and education never the requirement.

These eyes have foreseen the past, this soul is edifying.

Emptiness surrouds a heart,

still it beats in praise,

for a religion abuse by the cold world.

These eyes have been wounded, this soul is healing.

The conscience nurtures with aspiration,

a dream to break tradition,

bringing hope in a life seeming impossible.

These eyes envisioned, this soul is inspired.
