Expectations

Expectations are the professional way to say you’ve already prejudged on as to what you expect me to do and to be.

Well to be frank expectations make me sick to my stomach.

We created the word change but it’s so hard to believe that it actually happens due to the fact that expectations are based off of what you’ve done, did and where you come from.

Assumptions are one of our main downfalls.

Just because you EXPECT something doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen.

Just because they EXPECT the worst in me doesn’t mean I have to prove them correct.

And this goes out to all the other’s out there brought down by Society’s expectations and assumptions.

THEY expect us to fail but we shall prosper and this isn’t an expectation this is a promise. We are the future and we call all the shots, it’s time for us to take a stand against these biased expectations and live by our own goals and what we want to be!
