Existence

John 14:15-17

Jesus Promises Another Helper

15 “If you love Me,  keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

 Existence

Dragged onwards by existence … act like you’re alive

Just because you’re breathing … you think you’ve awareness

Filled with persistence … like bees around a hive

Not understanding the meaning or the hunger somehow to bless

Where did all the longings go … where the call for the unexpected?

Where the sense for adventure as life bubbles for a dream?

Tell me if you know … don’t leave me here neglected

Or hedge me with a censure that makes me want to scream

Where are love and happiness? … Where is their place of hiding?

Who covers it with His Hand and keeps it from appearing?

Who drew the line called: Loneliness … Who named the word: Confiding?

Who knows the Master’s Plan and the Spirit’s Love endearing?
