Everyone's watching me

Location

I walk quickly
head down
shoulders stiff
“I’m sorry” on my lips
Everyone’s watching me

My lips are bitten
hands shaking
leg bouncing
my breaths are deep
Everyone’s watching me

My chest is tight
body trembling
palms sweaty
the toilet bowl is cold
Everyone’s watching me

My fingers are bleeding
nails bitten
eyes glancing
my voice is weak
Everyone’s watching me

I can’t sleep
I can’t eat
They’re always watching me
The thoughts are piling up
My hands shake
The pills rattle
The water is tasteless going down
My eyelids are heavy
My limbs are lead
My head is quiet
Everything’s cold

I can’t see
hear
smell
touch
taste
Anything
Everything
But it’s okay
Because nobody’s watching me
