Everyone Is.
Everyone is annoying.
Their sickly, saccharine perfumes are cloying,
Jocks and bimbos prattling about inconsequential things
while boasting about their newest flings.
Oh, what I would give to escape this insufferable cesspit.
Everyone is a liar.
Behind backs they maliciously conspire,
Enemies who masquerade as your friend,
There is nobody on which I can depend
in this writhing, deceitful lair of snakes.
Everyone is pathetic.
Giving up on themselves and succumbing to rhetoric,
Backbones a quivering, limp mess
that break under the slightest bit of stress.
As if you sniveling, simpering fools could associate with me.
Everyone is a fake.
Shunning each other for popularity's sake,
Stepping on classmates seeking to impress,
Trying to climb higher on the ladder of success.
High school is an illusion.
