The story of my life

Told over and over

Omitting here, omitting there

Nobody knows me

The sun hiding behind the clouds

Feeling the day coming

When they discover

Just who I am

No mom, no dad

A puppy on the street

Unwanted unliked

A stray cat in N.Y.C

I'm beginning to feel as if

I am an everyday vision

Seen 24/7

An everyday vision

Everybody sees

But nobody understands

My abilities not seen

Waiting to release

Walked on everyday

Unmined gold

Rich when discovered

Ready to work

For any good cause

Reindeer on Christmas

I am an everyday vision

Seen 24/7

An everyday vision

Everybody sees

But nobody understands

I find those I trust

And confer with them

A shepherd with his sheep

Announce my arrival

Time to renew

Butterfly ready to fly

I am an everyday vision

Seen 24/7

An everyday vision

Everybody sees

Now everyone understands
