Everybody Talks Rewrite (I created some new lyrics)

Hey, I see everyone looking my way.

They’re talking about my addiction.

Hey, I know what they’re going to say;

“It’s all just science fiction.”

I’m sorry they don’t believe. And it’s about time

I figure out that

I need to walk

I need to walk

I need to walk by faith

Not listen to the whispers.

I know He will deliver

Until I return to the dirt.

He wore the thorny hat.

He deserves more than a lack

Of faith.  He always has my back

When I need to be saved.

Hey, He was tortured and drug

To the cross to be my prescription.

He didn’t turn into a ghost.

He rose after his crucifixion.

Oh my, I’m acquitted.

I need to walk

I need to walk

I need to walk by faith

Not listen to the whispers.

I know He will deliver

Until I return to the dirt.

He wore the thorny hat.

He deserves more than a lack

Of faith.  He always has my back.

When I’m under attack.

Never leaves my side. He’s with me every day.

Whom shall I fear? No one stands in my way.

I need to walk

I need to walk

I need to walk by faith

Not listen to the whispers.

I know He will deliver

Until I return to the dirt.

He wore the thorny hat.

He deserves more than a lack

Of faith.  He always has my back.
