Every Day

Every day, I try to make her smile,

Every day, I try to go that extra mile,

But I've been at this for quite a while,

And I haven’t really been going at it in style.

Every day, I try to keep a lie,

Every day, I try to give her a high,

But to be honest I’m running outta things to try,

When all in all everything spirals out of the sky,

Every day, I look at her in surprise,

Every day, I think ‘there are so many guys,

So many of them that would rise,

Rise just to catch sight of my amazing prize.

Every day, I try to play my part,

Every day, I try to give her a brand-new start,

And in the end, I decided I was pretty smart,

To have chosen the girl with the biggest heart.
