Every

All you truly ever wanted was a friend,

But you’ve come to know you can only trust yourself in the end.

Everything came to know was just a lie,

And there’s no more time to ask why.

Every friend you thought you had,

Every time you ever felt sad.

None of it matters anymore,

You need to know what you’re living for.

Every tear you ever cried,

Every meaningful person who ever died.

Every endless night,

Every time you thought you were right.

Every minute you waste in time,

Show everyone that you will shine.

Not knowing where you are safe,

Every time you ever lost faith.

You’ll make it if you try,

Keep pushing ‘til the day you die.
