An Evaluation of a Popular Insult (Explicit)
It’s kind of interesting to note the different varieties of the world “slam”.
You see-the event is called “A Poetry Slam”
Also shortened to “A Slam”
And the poems themselves are “Slam Poems”.
It goes from verb to noun to adjective in a matter of seconds.
Yet this word is not the most versatile I’ve come upon.
Let’s take a more familiar word
I’m sure many of you have used it before.
I’ve seen it used as an insult, an adjective, an adverb, a verb and an exclamation.
Can you guess?
Here’s an example, respectively:
Fuck you! You fucking psycho, don’t you fucking touch me. Go fuck yourself.
Fuck.
See, the word “fuck” is very interesting.
It is many things,
But not a noun.
No matter how hard you try, you cannot envision the thing.
Envision the verb: to fuck,
We all know what it means.
But to hold as a noun, we can’t, it seems.
When we think the word cat, we think of a cat.
Same goes for hat, and same goes for truck
But when we think the word fuck...well, fuck.
But in the end, it’s kind of useless.
We put so much into it, but what does it mean?
“Go fuck yourself”
Ok, I will enjoy masturbating later tonight but I really don’t see what that has to do with our current situation...
Maybe it’s not about the meaning.
Maybe it is about the feeling.
When choosing an insult
After taking into careful consideration the whole situation
It’s true
There is one that we simply most often use.
Those two little words:
Fuck you.
