Hollow black circles line her eyes;

Her lips so red - unnaturally so.

Freckles hidden by a powdery vail;

She doesn't want anyone to see.

Why, I ask, does she cover up,

Such natural beauty and grace?

She should remove it all at once,

For I've never seen quite an ethereal face.
