An internal battle wages

on the stages

of my ever beating heart

Two voices contradict

but neither is easily dismissed

 in this tug of war between life and death

Sorry did I say two voices I meant two echoing reverberations

Loud enough to split nations

Polarizing stations

 polar rising stations

One station matches my flesh desperately wicked

Sinful in nature for interwoven in the nature of man there has always been sin

This voice so attractive so massive so smooth and distractin’

Seems to ad lib all the things that I wrongfully lust

The lies of a world drenched in evil

The heartbeat, down beat, sinfully sweet melody

Of that song which exposes the gates of my mind to perverse thoughts

which may make me a thot

The tingles when he hugs me and tells me im beautiful

 cuz’ the worth I find in him makes my heart full

I lust I lust after these dressed up devils

selling me hell in the form of rose petals

That sex scene i watched that intrigued me

the stories they told of wild nights mislead me

Feed me feed me lie after lie but without the truth I find it impossible to desipher the falsehood and

This voice this sexy stimulating voice seems all kinds of enticing

Wait hold up stop and rewind

 how can the voice of death possibly sound so so fine

Now let me expose something that’ll blow your mind

Satan, Lucifer, Devil whatever name he goes by

Is not an idiotic being without a game plan

He won’t straight up tell you “here eat this and you’ll die”

His tactics are trickier he’s full of deceit

He’ll present you with thorns appearing as meat

He come to your carnal man, the carnivore, and prepare a feast

Unbeknownst to you the carnal man is really a cannibal

Candidly consuming his own flesh

Because contrary to popular belief the devil does not destroy you

He simply gives you the tools to devour yourself

And if you don’t have a few checks in place

you’ll devour the malicious meal without even saying grace

You’ll grab on to the faulty façade of a life filled with thrill

 till the moment you fall on your face

Because you thought the life you chose would be filled with joy fast

But it slipped through your fingers 

Subtanceless like chaff

Your ears opened to hear the tantalizing words of the demons around revealed as the hiss of snakes

And the horns concealed by shining crowns became evident in your face

And you weep and pace and stall your race

as you realize what a disgrace

your life has become to the kingdom of grace

but wait.

Hope abounds let us return to the first stanza, second line, third word….Two

Dos, deux, du, Eiji

Not one but two

Voices were heard

But only one only one was entrenched in the word

Of truth that is

And you know it right beyond a shadow of doubt

And not because it lines up to the words your pastors spout

But it is in alignment with the holy word of God

And there are no gimmicks in the  lyrics of the spirits whispered truths

He does not dress and disguise it because he doesn’t have to

It is constant never changing everlasting

Forever basking in the glorious light of God, its origin

This still small voice makes a life changing noise

 causing the heavens to rejoice

If only if only we take head

If we could just take the time to plant a mustard seed

of faith in way of light

Our will limits exceed the boundaries of the sky

Joy will abound and love will be found

True love existing in a world where its lacking

It is you who’ll be tracking it along with you everywhere you go

Depositing pockets of mercy and grace

Inspiring others to seek God’s face

Enjoying more blessings than your soul can take

Like a pleasant dream from which you never wake

With the knowledge that your shame has been burned at the stake

Unwilling and unable to escape the fierce faith of our father in heaven

And even though you find yourself in a valley surrounded by the shadows of death

God’s still sweet voice has eradicated every semblance of fear

And he has dedicated his rod and staff for the sole purpose of bringing you comfort

Out of the pits of your shame

So praise his name

 even in the storm

But why oh why says the lord to his children

Must you follow the voice that mirrors your carnally wicked desires

The voice that you know will lead to hell fire

Yet you sacrifice eternity for a relative moment of satisfaction

Which leads to destruction, Corruption, deception

Stalling the work of a heart under construction

The answer is a simple explanation but never an excuse

you see Its found in Romans 7 flip to verse 19

Now follow along carefully

 Paul goes quite deep here

To gain understanding you must have an attentive ear

He says “I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I want to do what is right but I won’t. But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it

Does it? Do sit and ponder on that God inspired revelation

You were born as a babe

 with that voice of sin engraved

 in your desperately wicked heart

So you see I was preprogrammed to fail at righteousness

Due to the wickedness living inside

However if we skip down to verse 25

We find how we can free ourselves from this preordained paradoxical problem

Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord

I know you must be floored but it is really that simple

Our awesome God believe it or not has the power to supernaturally rewire you sinfull desires

in order to take you higher

in him to a place above sin
