I long to escape

Driving, running, walking, drinking, sleeping,

I've tried them all, yet I am still stuck

Stuck in reality, in isolation

I long to be anywhere else,

to know no one, to be unknown

I long to be understood,

to not feel alone, to be completely free

Escape is the only thing I have ever known as a loner
