Envy is the fuel to your fires

Location

I get up at six in the morning,

to hear you go on and on,

about shit that makes me start snoring.

When the whole class fails a test

you blame us,

because teacher knows best.

Schoolwork stress gets in our heads,

and when we get home at 10,

you don’t understand why it’s not on your desk.

I know you secretly envy us,

and our free will,

to party and be selfless.

Now is the time we have,

to be selfish

and brake hearts in half.

Because 10 years from now,

we will be you,

looking back and thinking wow.
