Envisioned Futures

Mon, 05/01/2017 - 11:49 -- J'vaun

Brighter than an exploding star,

I am that of the future.

Whether it be near or far,

I hope to be accepted and not treated like that of an intruder.

Lives are taken lightly but not treated as fragile.

Some hide their thoughts like they're a part of a forbidden file.

People claim to see what the future holds,

but in reality their visions are blurred  by those who only tell a stacked lie.

Minds being mislead like individuals who are afraid of jumping but still think they have the ability to fly.

One can't foreshadow how their life will be,

but they can hope and wonder if it would be a life that they'll want to see.
