The Enclave

The end of the world came in a great nuclear flame,
And yet we remain
Many thought we were to blame,

We stand the wasteland’s Bane
Between Poseidon and Eden we’re split
Despite the power that does wane

It is with the great kit
Our power restored but only briefly
Undone by the one with great wit

It was our old enemy chiefly
Poseidon gone to the tribes
The battle only lasted briefly

It was in the east that we would be remembered by the scribes
Eden destroyed by its own logic
We saved ourselves only through many bribes

Our work undone, forgotten as demagogic
We made one last brave fight before vanishing in the evening light.
