Election 2016

2016 was the year of the crazy,

Eventually (hopefully) it will all just be hazy.

As we tell our grandkids the story of doubt,

We might get fiesty, and begin to shout.

They will ask why everyone was always upset,

We will answer in that we were always in debt!

No matter the winner of the presidential election,

We must remember we are a nation; certainly not sectioned.

At the end of the day, you can't please everyone,

Not all will be happy, or even having fun.

It is nice to remember that we all are equal.

However, this one will have an interesting sequel!

My country
