Children fear him because of the spooky story their parents recite to them,

It's always, "Be good or El Cucuy will eat you."

If El Cucuy were to be in America today, would he be just,

Or would people use his name in vain and look at him with disgust,

El Cucuy would be no better than J.A. Dahmer,

He'd just be locked up, now there will be no more drama,

The kids won't stay up at night wondering if El Cucuy is coming for them,

But now, the parents have no story to tell,

Now the the kids are acting bad again, there isn't a story to scare them,

El Cucuy, come back we need you!
