Eclipse to my Full Bright Moon

All the expectations and love for you
Shattered and annihilated in a moment or two
Building the castles in air, I was
Pursuing you, was my biggest loss
Deep in your self, I have lost mine
Ignited to ashes apace in no time
Decimating my self, respect and pride
And you, who have easily left my side
My heart that was thumping for your name
After you ditched me, nothing is same
Love was in the air, once I thought
Despair and regret are now, what I got
Claiming to be the most fortunate
And now sobbing over my broken fate
Losing you isn't a loss, my dear
It made my way apparent and clear
Not my Universe, I realized soon
You were the eclipse to my full bright moon
Nescient I was, of my value and respect
With a dearth of aplomb and esteem, in fact
The void after you, made me entirely complete
And filled me with dignity, head to feet
