Eat, Breathe, Sleep: INK

Location

I write America, holding back the pain from her, the hurt from him, and the anger from them
I’m a silently outspoken girl trying to prove that writing will get me far
I can and will
become a successful writer, my mother will see…just watch
I will write, edit and publish until my hands fall off.
Through the silent movements from pen to paper,
I will bleed, sleep, sweat and cry ink.
I will make a living.
Writing is my outspokenness outlet; it’s how I define me.
Less alone, less in the background, less of being afraid,
more carefree, more joyful, more lively
That’s how I write America
