Easy fatality
1 John 3:21-22 21 Dear friends, if our conscience does not condemn us, we have confidence in the presence of God, 22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing to Him.
Conscience has always the same purpose.
Conscience is the current standard of God’s leading.
We really need to submit to conscience for otherwise we sin.
God judges through my conscience or brings a state of evaluation
to guide and direct my path ... to where I should have been.
Young Christians have great advantage.
You follow the Lord whole heartily
with a sensitive conscience that easily moves
as the Holy Spirit guides you without interruption
in your ability ... to keep the mind aloof.
Older believers have gathered much knowledge and in such
they tend to overdevelop ... all issues through their mind.
They numb their sensitivity and move conscience aside
to so become un-teachable ... as in spirit they can’t find.
This is the fatal blow ... to what could be a spiritual life
to make knowledge our standard ... as an escape from the flesh.
We have in believing settled ... joy in the bones of our existence
and without hesitation ... we have become just like the “rest”.
Conscience and knowledge ... can prove quite conflicting.
We can be quite disturbed ... even doing “what is legit”.
According to the truth ... that we just have acquired
through our search and intellect and that is not all of it.
Conscience should be lead ... by intuition of the Spirit.
It is God’s way to communicate ... the things He desires.
He is not interested in what we know ... but how we live with it
for the “knowing” are not justified ... but the doers He admires.
