To Each Their Own

what is this feeling?

Is it my heart? Playing to the sound of this ballad

This eternal love that roars its trumpets night and day.

This ballad with no regret, never to tire, only to play over the sounds of traffic and strangers

I lay with you to hear your omnipresence, the sound of you while you lie awake or slumber

Tlooking onwardly at your love, so open and free as the sky is blue and endless...

I I lie awake waiting for you to hear my song.. This ballad that never turns off..

Somehow someway, in the same space... you hear nothing...

Only for me to sing this eternal ballad, every note that escapes my lips

One for you to taste, for your ears to ring.. for your touch...

This eternal ballad... to each their own..
