Sometimes
I feel so small
as if i were a blemish
on the face of the moon,
surrounded by craters;
as if i were a grain of sand
on the ledge of a mountain range,
overwhelmed by the cliff.

And yet
I feel so huge
as if i were spilling
out of boundaries,
my insides uncontained;
as if I were ripping
at the seams,
too much for what I am.

I have the importance
of a speck of dust
floating in the galaxy,
surrounded by stars and planets,
with supernova dreams.
