Drowning in stress

Stressed out,

Can't breath,

Barely a thought,

I can conceive.

If not one thing,

It's the other,

Life is,

beginning  to smother.

I might be drowning,

I don't know,

Would someone care?

I hope so.

Hear me out,

Just one person,

Someone save me,

from my submersion.

Life is hard,

I wish I knew why,

as these thoughts in my head,

pass on by.

I'll try to smile,

try to laugh,

live it fully,

without being daft.

Can I do it?

I don't know.

I'm drowning.
