How can you save someone that is mentally drowning?

Drowning in a sea of anger

hatred for themselves

Someone that is mentally abusing themselves

How can you save someone from cutting?

You can easily play the sympathy card

But what they really need is a saving grace

Someone who cuts themselves is drowning

Drowning mentally is worse than the physical drowning

When you are physically drowning someone notices

But who actually notices when you have tears welling up?
