Drown

Location

I get pushed down and my sorrow hangs heavy like an anchor

I've been swimming in this ocean for an eternity

Wave after wave it pummels me

I inhale the sea as It tries to engulf me

Watch me drown in this repetition of eternal conflict

A battle I can't win, it's no longer swimming when your drowning

In comparison I am small to this deep blue

And every ounce of me want to live

But those ounces slowly drift away with this current rush of sorrow.
And I let go
