I had a dream that everyone was happy,

that every dreamer reached their destiny,

I had a dream that no one judges each other,

that we laugh and smile happily to one another,

this was all just a dream until I woke up,

realizing it was still day, and nothing changed after all.

I awoke and abhor the fact that it was only a dream,

that no one cares about another but their own greed,

I awoke staring deeply into the morning light,

a bit hurtful but somewhat a pleasant sight,

I saw a bit of hope and we can make this right,

not just me alone, but we can if only we unite,
