And if I had a breath
to describe our love
I would say it was
as beautiful as cracked concrete
as dangerous as molten lava
as disastrous as a natural
disaster no one prepared for.
And it was beautiful
and it was so beautiful it was ugly
and
it felt
so good it caused
pain
at the tip top of my soul
that drip dropped
into the mold of my broken heart.
Clasping myself
imagining your hold
the feel of your kiss
so light on my lips
sharp intakes of air
as it slips
from my unconscious
reality that was
just
a dream
and
twice
as fleeting.
