Down the Dark Descent

Thu, 05/15/2014 - 10:14 -- kellham

Down, down, down I fall, down this dark descent

Spiraling down into the abyss was never my intent.

Never better, always worse

  Is this my eternal curse?

Try as I might, I cannot drag myself out

of this eternal chaos, this everlasting doubt.

Fighting for a single breath, a single drop of happiness

its a slow psychological death in all of its glorious ghastliness.

Down, down, down I fall, down this dark descent

I can't return, I can't go back, this is my eternal torment.
