Double minded

James 1:5-8              New English Translation

5 But if anyone is deficient in wisdom, he should ask God, who gives to all generously and without reprimand, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed around by the wind. 7 For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8 since he is a double-minded individual, unstable in all his ways.

Luke 6:46 New English Translation

46 “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do what I tell you?

A state of existence

What is the use of praying if my conscience reproves me?

What is the use of asking for directions if I don’t follow them?

What is the use to search if only for my satisfaction?

What is the use of living if I pretend to live God’s Will?

Unless I offer prayers of gratitude

How to pray in faith since I know that I am forgiven?

How can I have complete security if I indeed will sin again?

How can my flesh disturb my inner peace, that’s driven?

Through Holiness and God, Himself as I arose in Christ?
