The Dormant Genius

Location

Everybody has always had that one dream.

Mine was to be a pianist....

Ever since I was 4 I played the piano non-stop. I was always discouraged. Told to focus on my studies... That's where the money is.

I wrote my first song in 7th grade when I "fell in love".. I was heartbroken.. Not because of the girl, but because of love itself. I was forced to love that which I didn't love and forced to hate that which I loved. My life became a paradox.

8th grade I put it all away and locked the idea in a bulletproof case.

Now I'm in 10th grade. I did the impossible and opened that case. I broke throught that barrier and let out my dream.

That one small dream which we decided to chase as kids, but often times were completely discouraged against.

Our thoughts were distorted with oustide influence and our wishes soon became only that... wishes..

All of those nights "wasted" on things that would never happen. Countless battles which only you experienced. And finally you decided against that which you loved. You threw away all that hard work and locked it in a social cell, never to be opened and lay your true self to sleep. That is what life made you do. And you obeyed it relentlessly.

But

What if, you stood back up? What if you pushed aside all those who opposed you and let yourself out of the broken chasis which most consider reality.

Normal is deplorable.. Yet weird is the new horrible.

Eccentrism kept to oneself and dreams drowned in doubt.

You choose to back down when you could easily be starbound.

The easy way is the lazy way. Why not push your dream forward. Fight for that success which is rightfully yours. Since when does society have the right to tell you no?

You are not bound by others thoughts, but by your own. Set yourself free and you will become that who was brought down so often by society. You are a fighter and a dreamer. But best of all you are you.

So pick up that pen, drop the History books and tumblr memes. Unchain the hooks of life and end that eternal sufferering. Break the rules, live your life. End the torture through which society controls our every sigh. Make air out of those which try to drown you, make life out of those which try to kill you, make success of that which tries to make you fail. Make yourself. Make your dreams, Make your life. Unveil the artist from within. Awaken the giant. Where have you been? Stuck under a desk with only words to supress. Since when can a dictionary hold back the best. Find your inner self and sail the seven seas and achieve that inner chi. Fly through Nirvana and have an encounter with the honored. It's time for you to wake up. You're late. Life has only just begun. This is where it all gets serious...:

Awaken your inner genius.
